FOUNDER’S BIOGRAPHY

It was the morning of 3rd February, 1941 when Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad was born in the Latur district of Maharashtra. An exceptional student of engineering, Dr. Karad spent the next two decades of his life training and developing young minds as a teacher at College of Engineering, Pune.

A visionary, he founded MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions in the year 1983 while revolutionizing education in Maharashtra. The core philosophy behind all the initiatives of the institute was the confluence of science and spirituality.

Dr. Vishwanath Karad, with his tremendous sense of dedication and commitment to promote the ‘Culture of peace’ in the world, has devoted his entire life to the noble cause of human welfare. His mission for ‘world peace’ and effort in creating a ‘value-based universal education system’ has helped innumerable students in developing a positive mindset.

VishwaRaj Hospital is a big step towards accomplishing his philosophy to create a healthcare ecosystem focusing purely on science and compassionate service to one and all.
