Pregnancy confirm झाल्याबरोबरच consultation ची प्रक्रिया सुरू होते. येथून आणि तिथून येणार्‍या सल्ल्यामुळे कधीकधी गोंधळ वाढतो. अशा परिस्थितीत, होणाऱ्या आईला केव्हा काय करावे आणि काय नाही हे माहित असणे महत्वाचे आहे.डॉक्टरांच्या मते, गर्भधारणेच्या सुरुवातीच्या तीन महिन्यांमध्ये खूप महत्वाचे असतात.
तीन महिन्याची सुरुवात LMP (Last Menstrual Period ) च्या पहिल्या दिवसा पासून होते आणि हह्याचा पूर्ण काळ असतो १२ आठवडे . LMP वरूनच EDD म्हणजे expected date of delivery calculate केली जाते. पहिल्या दिवसा पासून ४० आठवड्या पर्यंत प्रेग्नेंसी चा पूर्ण काळ असतो . LMP वरून काढलेली delivery date constant असते . sonography मधून काढलेले EDD , measurement अनुसार बदलत राहतात . जेव्हा तुम्ही missed period होऊन डॉक्टरांकडे आलेले असतात तेव्हा तुमचे प्रेग्नेंसी चे ४-५ आठवडे झालेले असतात . तेव्हा डॉक्टर pregnancy diagnosis करतात आणि त्या प्रमाणे पुढची treatment ठरवली जाते. प्रत्येक स्त्रीने obstetric calendar ठेवावा कारण त्यामुळे pregnancy mapping करायला मदत होते.

१st trimester हा सर्वात महत्वाचा काळ असतो pregnancy मध्ये . थोडासा नाजूक काळ असल्यामुळे जास्त सल्ल्याची , जास्त आरामाची आणि जास्त anti-natal advice ची गरज असते . ह्या काळात १५-२०% pregnancy abort होऊ शकतात . त्यामुळे पहिले तीन महिने खूप महत्वाचे असतात . समजा Pre conceptional counselling नाही झाल असेल तर सर्वात आधी gynecologists patient ची history (past , present आणि family ) घेतात. Patient ची height ,weight, blood pressure घेऊन पुढचा सल्ला दिला जातो . पहिल्या consultaionमध्ये folic acid supplementation सुरु केला जात जे brain development साठी खूप मह्त्वाच असता. ह्या गोळ्या ३-४ महिने दिल्या जातात.
Pregnancy Scans & Test
- Antenatal test १st trimester मध्ये antenatal profile केला जातो ज्याच्यात list of a blood test for pregnancy and urine tests असतात जे Pre conceptional counselling मध्ये केले जातात आणि नसतील केले तर ह्या tests केले जातात.
- Sonography Dating scan ज्याच्यात pregnancy confirm केली जाते.ज्याच्यात तुमचा pregnancy week, twin कि normal pregnancy आणि pregnancy healthy आहे का हे ह्या scan मध्ये पाहिलं जात.
- Minor Ailment and उपचार pregnancy मध्ये ज्या समस्या येतात जस कि उलटी होणे, चक्कर येणे किव्हा progesterone deficiency असेल तर त्यासाठी पुरेपूर सल्ला दिला जातो.
- Diet आणि exercise चा सल्ला . पहिल्या तीन महिन्यात कुठ्लेहि antenatal visit टाळू नका .
प्रेग्नेंट आहे हे कळताच लवकरात लवकर gynecologist ला भेटा आणि couple जे pregnancy plan करत असतील तर त्यांनी Pre conceptional counselling केली पाहिजे.
