Centre for Dietetics & Nutrition at VishwaRaj Hospital plays an integral part in treating and preventing various ailments. The centre deals and understands the need of various patients and helps to choose a diet that keeps you fit. It aims to improve the health and quality of life of indoor and outdoor patients through dietary and nutritional assessment, counseling and diet education.
Treatment and Services
At VishwaRaj Hospital, our expert team of dieticians provides consultation to patients with different issues like diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, weight management, gastrointestinal disorders and so on. The dietitians are qualified in the areas of clinical nutrition, nutritional assessment, counseling, and management of many nutrition-related disorders. They are experienced to analyze the food intake, assess the baseline calorie needs, measure body composition, and help patients comply with healthy diets customized for them.
Our Approach to Nutrition & Dietetics Patients
The experienced team of consultants at the Centre for Dietetics and Nutrition helps patients understand the need for a holistic and essentially therapeutic diet based on their afflictions. Available at every rung of the healthcare system, the team uses a balanced approach of combining the palatability of foods with carefully measured quantities of intake to facilitate maximum nourishment for both children and adults alike.

We, at Centre for Dietetics, make a constant effort to provide the best services to our patients.
Out Patient Department: Our dieticians provide consultation on out-patient basis to patients as per their need or disease. Outpatients are referred either from other specialty consultant or the patients walk in to seek diet advice.
In Patient Department: Out dietician visits each and every patient admitted in the hospital such that he/she receives the diet appropriate for the particular ailment/procedure done. The dietician ensures the clinical needs with the treating doctor or surgeon and takes into the consideration the food habits of the patient.
