Dr. Girish Kakade, a qualified rheumatologist with a dynamic background in the field of rheumatology. His journey includes five years of dedicated experience, marked by a one-year fellowship in the United Kingdom at one of the busiest rheumatology centers in NHS England. This unique experience has enriched my expertise in various aspects of rheumatology, including connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, newer biologic therapies, and osteoporosis.
Dr.Girish Kakade hold a Distinctive National Board (DNB) qualification in Rheumatology, further underlining my commitment to providing specialized care in this field. Notably, Dr.Girish Kakade had the privilege of training and working at the prestigious private rheumatology tertiary care center, P D Hinduja National Hospital in Mumbai, India. Subsequently, and professional journey led to NHS England, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of both private and public healthcare settings.
• International Training Fellowship in Rheumatology (UK)- 1 year fellowship at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, under Royal College of Physicians, London, United Kingdom with special experience in ‘Connective tissue diseases and vasculitis’, ‘Osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases’ and ‘Newer biologic therapies in rheumatology’ (Dec 2018- Dec 2019).
• SCE Rheumatology (UK)- Successfully cleared Specialty Certificate Examination in Rheumatology conducted by Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians, United Kingdom in June 2018.
