Dr Vikram Patil has performed more than 4000 diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies including EVL, Polypectomy, hemoclips, PEG tube insertion, Stenting, glue injections, foreign body removal, stricture dilatations, biopsies etc.
He has been trained in high-end procedures like ERCP with biliary and pancreatic interventions and EUS.
He has been managing emergency upper and lower GI bleed, obscure GI bleed and other emergencies.In Hepatology he has vast experience in managing alcoholic liver disease, Hepatitis B/C, Acute liver failure, liver cirrhosis and its complications.
He is keen in research and has been awarded at various national and international meetings.
