Meet our brave patient, a 63-year-old with a history of Rheumatoid arthritis and multiple comorbidity. After a fall at home, she was bedridden and experiencing intense back pain.
Upon evaluation, an MRI revealed multiple level fractures, and the T9 vertebra displayed signs of non-union with re-fracture. Our dedicated Orthopaedics team, led by Dr.Pramod Kumar Surve (Consultant – Trauma, Spine and Joint Replacement Surgeon), stepped in to perform a groundbreaking minimal invasive Vertebroplasty with cement injection.
